Indigenous Postdoctoral Fellow-Academic Level B

Classification: Academic Level B Salary package: $98,009 - $111,365 per annum, plus 17% superannation Are you an early career doctoral graduate? Do you have the potential to become a world-leading academic in your field? The Australian National University seeks applications from early-career doctoral graduations to undertake a five-year fellowship program with Australian’s leading research University.

Successful applicants will undertake both teaching and research over this five-year fellowship with a pathway to a continuing position at the University after three years.

Academic Level A - Research Associate/PhD Candidate

Classification: Academic Level B Salary package: $71,509 - $90,125 per annum plus 17% superannuation Are you a graduate? Are you looking to undertake your PhD while concurrently gaining some teaching and research experience?

The ANU is seeking applications from emerging Indigenous scholars who are eager to undertake a PhD with any of our seven academic colleges. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who would value the opportunity to develop their teaching and research experience, while completing PhD study at Australia’s leading research university.

Successful applicants will spend 60% of their time working towards their PhD and 40% of their time participating in Research Associate duties related to their PhD topic.

This is an Identified Level A position, fixed term for five years providing a supported pathway into academia for the right candidates.

Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Research

The University invites expressions of interest from researchers in relevant disciplines that are aligned with the University’s research priority areas and can contribute to the Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Initiative going forward, as well as a willingness to contribute to teaching in Indigenous Studies.

Positions are available in any relevant discipline, at levels A-E, in one of the seven ANU Colleges or the National Centre for Indigenous Studies. Applications suitable for appointment at level D/E to lead the Indigenous Health and Wellbeing initiative, in collaboration with existing Indigenous focused research groups at the ANU, are particularly welcome.
