Introduction

Mr Craig Greene joined NCIS in November 2013 as the Community Consultation Coordinator for the 5-year ARC Linkage project 'Serving Our Country: a history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the defence of Australia'.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of South Australia.

Biography

Craig is a Gurindji Warlpiri man for the Northern Territory and joins the NCIS with over 15 years' experience working with and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. Craig has worked on many National major events and conferences as well non-government organisations, noting his most recent position as the Community Engagement Coordinator with the National Congress of Australia's First Peoples based in Sydney.

Scholarly interests

Craig has a particular interest in indigenous culture, heritage, history and repatriation.
